STORY
Having visited Dartmouth on a regular basis due to Jon’s love of sailing, Dartmouth was always going to be our first choice for our new venture.
How it started
We bought Waterfront House with the sole intention of converting the house into a bed and breakfast. The house had previously been split into two holiday apartments and was dilapidated to say the very least. We knew the location would be a perfect place for our guests to enjoy a central location in the heart of Dartmouth with amazing views of the River Dart and Kingswear.
Jon has over 30 years experience of building and construction and Julie has the same in hospitality. It has been our vision to open Waterfront House to guests from the very moment we saw the house.
Why Dartmouth
Having visited Dartmouth on a regular basis due to Jon’s love of sailing, Dartmouth was always going to be our first choice for our new venture. We have tried most of the restaurants and coffee shops. We have stayed in most of the hotels and guest houses in the town. Julie has shopped in most of the shops so we are able to help our guests plan their stay in Dartmouth and the surrounding area.
